Anxiety
I help anxious people understand and work with themselves.
It can be tempting to try to cope on your own or reassure yourself that it will pass.
Maybe it's eased in the past but then got worse again. There are reasons for that.
The answers are in you and I can help you find them
Intercultural Therapy
Intercultural Therapy is talking therapy with a twist - it's all about appreciating the unique aspects and shared experiences in our lives, such as race, culture and language.
I make sure to carry an adult's cultural essence throughout our entire therapy journey.
Couples Therapy
While talking to friends and family can be helpful, sometimes you need a more impartial ear. That's where relationship and couple therapy come in handy.
It's a space where both of you can reflect on your relationship, share honestly and sensitively, and hopefully, gain a deeper understanding of each other.
My Approach
My approach is primarily person-centred. However, I have trained as an Integrative therapist, meaning I often combine several therapeutic approaches such as Systemic, Solution Focused and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Who is your therapist?
I am a BACP registered Person-Centred Counsellor who works with both individuals and couples.
Person-Centred means that you are at the centre of the work. I believe in the value of having someone truly taking the time to listen to what you have to say and having your voice heard.
Getting Help
I have the pleasure of working with wonderful individuals from diverse walks of life and backgrounds. While the list of common issues I help with is quite extensive, it only scratches the surface. In our first chat, I'd be absolutely delighted to share more about my experiences in specific areas and tailor our conversation to your unique needs.
